Education course offered by NAMI
AUGUSTA — The National Alliance on Mental Illness Family-to-Family Education Course will be offered from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for 12 Mondays starting Sept. 14 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Parish Hall, 209 Eastern Ave, according to a news release from the alliance.
The free course teaches skills that can help family members and friends of those with mental illness cope more effectively. To register, or for more information, contact call 582-2215, 395-4669 or 800-464-5767, ext. 305.
