Police arrested two men after another man was shot on Woodridge Drive in Buxton on Sunday.

Police were called to a house at 34 Woodridge Drive at 4 a.m. for a report of a 21-year-old man who had been shot. The man was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to a police statement.

Police charged Trevor Hesketh, 21, of Hollis with aggravated reckless conduct, and Bruce Hodgkin, 39, of Gorham with aggravated assault, the statement said.

Officers from Gorham, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Saco and Scarborough responded to the scene, the statement said.

The incident remains under investigation and a news release did not provide any additional details.
