SOUTH CHINA — Kaylee Porter scored on a penalty kick with a minute left in regulation to help the Erskine girls soccer team earn a 1-1 draw with Leavitt on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hornets (1-0-1) appeared headed to victory before Porter buried the penalty kick.

Victoria DeCoster scored for the Hornets in the first half. Angela Daigle had 20 saves for Leavitt while Cassandra Ray had five for Erskine (1-0-1).

MESSALONSKEE 3, EDWARD LITTLE 2: Lauren Pickett scored two goals in the second half, including the eventual game-winner in the 58th minute, as the Eagles edged the Eddies in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game in Auburn.

Fern Calkins scored a goal and added an assist for Messalonskee (2-0-0) . Taylor Easler had 14 saves for the victors while McKenna Brodeur had two assists.

Piper Norcross and Emily Jacques each scored for EL (0-1-1).

MT. BLUE 2, CONY 0: Eryn Doiron scored two goals — one in each half — to pace the Cougars to the KVAC A victory in Farmington.

Haley Caswell and Sierra Keim each had assists for Mt. Blue (1-1-0).

Autumn Sudsbury had 12 saves for the Rams (0-2-0).

GARDINER 2, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Lauren Chadwick scored two goals in the second half and Tabatha Hembree had eight saves as the Tigers prevailed at Spruce Mountain.

Maddie Noyes and Leslie Stevens each had assists for Gardiner (2-0-0). Hannah St. Pierre had eight saves for Spruce Mountain (0-2-0).

MOUNT VIEW 3, MEDOMAK VALLEY 1: Angela Strain scored two goals and Cate Arthurs assisted on another as the Mustangs sank the Panthers in Thorndike.

Kate Bennett had an assist for Mount View. Sophie Cohen scored the lone goal for Medomak.

MT. ARARAT 2, LAWRENCE 0: Lauren Sturgess and Nikki Bradstreet scored to lead the Eagles in Fairfield.

Kate Guerin had six saves for Mt. Ararat while Kayla Spencer had nine for the Bulldogs (1-1-0).

WATERVILLE 2, WINSLOW 2: Hillary Libby stopped 15 shots for Winslow and Gabrielle Martin had eight for Waterville as the rivals played to a draw in Winslow.

Jordan Jabar and Fotini Shanos scored for the Panthers while Desiree Veilleux and Jenna Petrovic scored for Winslow.

Both teams moved to 1-0-1.

MADISON 6, WINTHROP 0: Kayla Bess and Madeline Wood each scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Ramblers on Monday.

Aisha Moore and Ashley Emery each added goals for Madison (2-0).

Shie Smith had 30 saves for Winthrop (0-2).

HALL-DALE 5, WINTHROP 1: Ryan Sinclair, Tyler Dubois and Alex Guiou each scored a goal and had an assist as the Bulldogs won a Mountain Valley Conference match over the Ramblers in Winthrop.

Eli Smith and Tyler Nadeau added goals for Hall-Dale (1-0-1). Matt Albert added an assist.

Tyler Nussinow scored the lone goal for Winthrop (0-2). Jackson Ladd had 17 saves.

MT. ARARAT 2, LAWRENCE 0: Cole Kelly and Max Spelkae each scored goals to lift the Eagles to the KVAC A victory in Topsham.

Max Marin had seven saves for Lawrence (0-2-0) and Gavin Patterson had two saves for Mt. Ararat (1-0-1).

ERSKINE 4, LEAVITT 0: Luke Peabody and Josh Reed each scored a goal and an assist to lead the Eagles to the KVAC B victory in Turner.

Noah Bonsant and Raymond Weymouth each scored goals for Erskine (2-0-0) as well. Evan Clark had 11 saves for Leavitt (1-1-0).

MESSALONSKEE 1, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Jack Moore scored with 34:27 left in regulation to help Messalonskee erase a 1-0 deficit and earn the KVAC A tie in Oakland.

Dylan Jones had seven saves for the Eagles (1-0-1).

Mohammed Abdraba scored an unassisted goal for the Red Eddies (0-0-2).

GARDINER 7, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Casey Bourque and Dylan Haskell each scored two goals to lead the Tigers in Gardiner. Noah Keene, Peter DelGallo and Austin Weymouth also scored for Gardiner (1-1-0) while Kenneth Moore finished with one save.

Jake Folsom had two assists for Gardiner as well. Andrew Shaw had nine saves for Spruce Mountain (0-2-0).

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 4, MT. ABRAM 0: Aleski Pirttijoki scored two goals to lead Mountain Valley past the Roadrunners in Salem.

Sonke Hanncka and Garrett Garbirini also scored.

Jacob Beaucheu saved six shots for the Falcons (2-0-0) while Glendon Howard had nine for Mt. Abram (0-1-0).

FIELD HOCKEY

CONY 6, BRUNSWICK 0: Delaney Keithley scored two goals and added an assist to pace the Rams to the Northern A victory in Brunswick. Haley Ward, Molly Silsby, Cari Hopkins and Lindsay Watts also scored for Cony (2-1).

Jessica Lee needed to make just one save to earn the shutout.

Jordan Van Savage had 23 saves for the Dragons (0-2-1).

WINSLOW 6, WATERVILLE 2: Cassidy Rickard had two goals and two assists to lead the Black Raiders in Waterville.
