WATERVILLE — Freshman Tiffany Weeks scored two goals — including the game winner with less than seven minutes remaining — as the Thomas College field hockey team knocked off previously unbeaten Simmons College 3-2 in a non-conference game at Bernatchez Field Sunday.

Crystal Cunningham had the other Thomas (2-3) goals, while Taylor Bergeron and Erica Blake, of Norridgewock, each chipped in with assists. Mount View graduate Abbie Charrier made nine saves for the Terriers.

Julie Saltamartini had both goals for Simmons (5-1).

COLBY 4, ENDICOTT 1: Anna Rudinski and Megan Fortier each scored a goal and assisted on another to pace the Mules (2-1) past the Gulls (2-3) in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Misha Strage and Caroline Ferguson also scored goals for Colby, while Sarah Evans made three season in goal.

Morgan Bresnahan had the lone Endicott goal.

MAINE 7, HARVARD 1: The Black Bears had six different players score to cruise past the Crimson in Orono.

Samantha Wagg led the way with a pair of goals for Maine (5-1), while Ella Mosky, Danielle Aviani, Delaney Baxendale, Libby Riedi and Skowhegan’s Nicole Sevey each scored once.

EMERSON 4, UM-FARMINGTON 0: Sam Hatch set a new career high in saves with 17 but it was not enough as the Beavers (1-2) fell to the Lions (5-0) at Leib Field.

Tayllar Righini, Christine White, Cassandra Tatomir and Paige Healey each had goals for Emerson in the win,

QUNNIPIAC 3, MAINE 1: The Bobcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back to pick up a win over the Black Bears in Hamden, Connecticut.

Jess Fontaine paced Quinnipiac (4-1) with a pair of goals while Jess Gargan scored once.

Vivien Beil had the lone goal for Maine (4-3), her second of the season.

UM-PRESQUE ISLE 3, UNITY 0: Bethany Heald, Jesse Dickison and Sam Nadeau each scored goals to lead the Owls (2-2) over the Rams (2-4) in Presque Isle.

Ashia Prior finished with 10 saves in net for Unity.

UM-FARMINGTON 2, EMERSON 1: Ryan Fairbanks headed in a corner kick in the 78th minute to push the Beavers past the Lions in Farmington.

Uriah Forest-Bulley had the other UMF (2-1) goal while Tristan Price notched a pair of assists.

Duncan Bochicchio had the lone score for Emerson (1-3).

UM-PRESQUE ISLE 5, UNITY 1: Derek Healy put home a pair of goals to pace the Owls past the Rams in Presque Isle.

Chris Daly and Mohamud Baker also netted scores for UMPI (1-4), while Erskine graduate Caleb Bragg-Grady finished with six saves.

Francesco Guerrero scored the lone goal for Unity (2-3) and Winslow’s Mackenzie Michaud stopped 12 shots in net.

WHEATON 2, COLBY 0: The Lyons used a pair of second half goals to sink the Mules in Norton, Massachusetts.

Noah Kossoff and Amara Sesay each scored goals for Wheaton (5-2). Dan Carlson stopped six shots in net for Colby (1-3).
