SKOWHEGAN — Spectrum Generations’ Caregiver Respite Program can reimburse caregivers for 80 percent of what it costs for several hours of adult day care or in-home care, up to $3,040 a year, according to a release from the center.

In order to qualify, the care recipient must have a written diagnosis of a memory impairment, must not be receiving any other state supplement for respite, and liquid assets cannot exceed $50,000 for one person or $75,000 for a couple.
