AUGUSTA – New housing in development form has long been in short supply in the Capital City. So this newer, fast-growing neighborhood in East Augusta represents a great custom-home-owning opportunity for families and professionals.

The location provides many lifestyle advantages: Cony High School and Middle School are a short walk via path away, as are playing fields, tennis courts and 175 acres of city-maintained nature trails; the Historic Riverfront district is only a mile from here, and the new bypass to Interstate 95 just two miles distant.

This single-level home is not for sale,  but is a sterling example of what Fieldstone has to offer even at a lower price point. Executive ranch in style, built in 2010, the one-owner house of 1,698 square feet is immaculate and beautifully finished.

From the wide, tiled foyer, you look through a wide, arched door into the kitchen; on your left, a wide, arched window reveals the formal  dining room. The arches – matching, and also enhancing the open-concept feel of the main living areas – are but one example of the home’s fine design and detailing.

The lovely kitchen features honed-granite counters that include a gracefully curving, multi-seat dining island; oak cabinetry, in a darker stain that contrasts nicely with the white appliances; and lighting both recessed and pendant, the latter echoed in the dining room chandelier, but up-facing.
