WALES — Kylee Veilleux scored with 2 seconds left in the game to give Oak Hill a 2-1 win over Telstar in Mountain Valley Conference field hockey action Wednesday.

Veilleux took a shot that Telstar goalie Blair Stevens initially stopped and kicked out, but Veilleux was there for the rebound and the winning goal. Abby Asselin also scored for Oak Hill (5-1) off an assist from Erika Hannigan in the first half. Abby Fuller made 11 saves.

Becca Howard scored off a corner for Telstar (2-5). Blair Stevens stopped 21 shots.

WINTHROP 1, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Kinli DiBiase scored off an assist from Katriona Hajduk 9 minutes into the game to lift the host Ramblers to the MVC win.

Corinna Coulton made seven saves for Winthrop (4-2).

Alyssa Akers stopped 10 shots for the Falcons (5-2).

GIRLS SOCCER

MT. BLUE 1, OXFORD HILLS 1: Hannah Minns scored a goal for the Cougars in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game against the Vikings on Tuesday.

Hannah LeClair had an assist for Mt. Blue (2-3-1). Erika McArthur had nine saves.

Bailey Wood scored a goal for Oxford Hills (3-2-1).

BOYS SOCCER

ERSKINE 8, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Trevor Hubbard scored three goals to lead the Eagles to a win over the Phoenix on Tuesday.

Raymond Weymouth scored two goals, while Grayson Petter, Huang Barnett and Luke Peabody each added a goal for Erskine (4-0).

Andrew Shaw had 11 saves for Spruce Mountain (0-4).

WOMEN’S SOCCER

COLBY 2, THOMAS 0: Lauren McCarthy struck 18 minutes into the opening half and the Mules held on from there to down the Terriers in a non-conference game at Smith Field.

Samantha Turbeville — who assisted on McCarthy’s goal — added an insurance score for Colby (1-1) 12 minutes in the second half.

Erskine graduate Paige Leary finished with 17 saves in the loss for Thomas (2-3).
