Portland’s Cross Insurance Arena has added a second show by comedian Amy Schumer on Nov. 7, after seeing “overwhelming demand” for tickets for the first show.

The second show is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. and tickets went on sale Friday. The first show, at 7:30 p.m., was announced on Sept. 28 and demand for tickets convinced promoters to add a second show, according to a press release from Cross Insurance Arena on Friday.

Schumer starred in the summer comedy blockbuster “Trainwreck,” which has grossed more than $130 million worldwide. She also recently signed a multimillion-dollar deal to write a memoir. It’s tentatively titled “The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo.”

Tickets for Schumer’s two Portland shows can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, at the arena box office or at 775-3458. Cross Insurance Arena is located at Spring and Center streets in Portland.
