Saturday, a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe being driven south on Augusta Road by a 53-year-old Tenants Harbor woman was stopped in traffic when it was struck by a 2015 Chrysler being backed out of a parking spot by a 62-year-old New York City man.

Sunday, a 2006 Chevrolet Impala being driven on Waldoboro Road by a 53-year-old Augusta man went out of control when the driver attempted to avoid animals in the road. The car became stuck in a ditch.

WHITEFIELD

Saturday, a 2009 Subaru Outback being driven north on Head Tide Road by a 67-year-old Waterville woman went off the right side of the road and hit a tree. Police say the woman was driving too fast for a curve in the road when the cart hit a patch of sand in the road.

Monday at 2:10 p.m., there was a report of a bad check on Peck Farm Road.

Sept. 29, Wayne Bumford, 29, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of terrorizing in connection with an incident in Whitefield.

Tuesday at 2:59 a.m., Samuel Ryan Smith, 25, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of failure to pay fines on State Street.

12:22 p.m., Angelia M. Carrigan, 37, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant on Union Street.

2:54 p.m., Eric Warren Larsen, 64, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass by police responding to a shoplifting complaint on Cony Street.

7:43 p.m., Dawn Marie Darling, 43, of Augusta, was charged with operating under the influence and violating conditions of release by police responding to a traffic complaint on Mount Vernon Avenue.

9:48 p.m., Matthew Waits, 21, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault by police responding to a report of a disturbance on Glenridge Drive.
