AUGUSTA — Flamingo Flocking is currently ongoing as a fundraiser for 2016 Cony Project Graduation. For most of October, committee members are flocking local businesses and personal residence at the request of a friend, neighbor, co-worker, etc.
Individuals pay $20 and complete an order form with the location of the person they would like to anonymously have flocked. The committee members then go out and flock the residence with eight pink flamingos. Included in the flock is a congratulations letter and an order sheet, just in case the “flockee” wants to pay forward the surprise.
The flock is left for approximately 24 hours and is dropped off and picked up by a member of the committee. A sign is also left indicating the flock is supporting 2016 Project Graduation at Cony. Individuals wishing to purchase a flock service can email Tony Aube at Tkaube@aol.com. Delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of Cony High School.
