Video footage of UMaine at Farmington’s amazing sideline, flip-goal Sunday made ESPN Sports Center’s highlights Tuesday night.

Freshman Luke Sterling scored from a sideline throw-in against Green Mountain College Sunday, according to UMaine Farmington’s sports news office.

The goal was caught on video and posted on the school’s YouTube account. The footage was shown several times on Sports Center highlights.

Sterling is a former student at Edward Little High School in Auburn.

The Beavers beat Green Mountain 8-1.
