HINCKLEY — L.C. Bates Museum will offer flashlight tours, Creepy, Crawly, Awesome, Fun Halloween Flashlight Tours! from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 and Friday, Oct. 30.

The tours will include seeing the animals at night and some collections of bats that are on exhibition just for Halloween. In the classroom visitors will be able to make Halloween crafts and animal masks, dissect an owl pellet, explore the world of bats, and more. Visitors also can try out a scavenger hunt through the museum for an animal adventure. Bring a flashlight and explore the decorated museum at night; come dressed up or not.

Bates Museum is on U.S. Route 201 on the campus of Good Will-Hinckley. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, and other times by appointment.

Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children.
