RICHMOND — Richmond Future Land Use will conduct “Help us Map a Vision for Richmond’s Future!” workshops from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, and Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Marcia Buker Elementary School, High Street. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

The workshops will focus on the vision for the future of Richmond, locations of stores and businesses, residential development and preserveation of farms, rural areas and natural resources.

Participants at the first workshop will be armed with maps, and together, will draw a future land use map. The Comprehensive Plan Committee will take participants ideas and come back to the second workshop with a draft map and some further recommendations for discussion.

Good Group Decisions, a professional facilitation firm from Brunswick, will assist with the process.
