WATERVILLE — The 25th annual Interfaith Memorial Service, hosted by Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at Saint Joseph Maronite Church, 2 Appleton St.
This service of remembrance is designed for those who wish to remember their loved ones in a special way this holiday season, according to a news release from Hospice. Those who attend will have the opportunity to come forward during the service to light a candle in memory of a loved one and share a short poem or reading. Volunteers will light candles for those who are uncomfortable coming forward or are unable to attend.
Those who want to attend but do not have transportation, or wish to have a name read in their absence, call the hospice office at 873-3615 or email josborn@hvwa.org. A light supper will be served following the service.
