BAR HARBOR — Grayson Petty scored what turned out to be the game-winner in the first half and Trevor Hubbard added two insurance goals in the second half as Erskine blanked Mount Desert Island 3-0 in a Class B North preliminary round boys soccer match Saturday.

Petty scored on a penalty kick with 15 minutes left in the first half to give the Eagles (11-4-0) all the offense they would need. Josh Reed and Hoang Barnett assisted on Hubbard’s goals. Denver Cullivan earned the shutout in net as the Eagles out-shot the Trojans, 12-6.

Erskine will face No. 2 Winslow in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
