Rep. Brad Farrin, R-Norridgewock, in his Oct. 10 column, “‘Clean Elections’ fund is a bad deal for Maine” about the Maine Clean Elections program, says nothing about the millions of dollars from secret donors from out of state who want to influence us Maine voters.
The identities of those big donors are intentionally withheld in their ads designed to get our votes.
It scares me that people “from away” would seek to govern us secretly.
Question 1 is on our Nov. 3 ballot to protect us Maine voters from unknown people.
