READFIELD — The Maranacook Community Middle School will host a fundraiser from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at WildWood Disc Golf at 52 South Road.
The disc golf course is donating 100 percent of proceeds from the day to the middle school, according to a news release from the middle school.
The funds raised will benefit educational field trips. Field trips now must be paid by outside funds raised by the students. Along with disc golfing, the event will include hot foods, bake sale items and free games for younger children. Admission to play is only $5 per person and free for children younger than 9. Disc rental is $1.
