I’ve been honored to represent Ward 4 on Hallowell City Council and am pleased to endorse Diano Circo for the Ward 4 seat on the next council. I’ve worked with Diano on the city’s Recreation Commission, finding him to be thoughtful, experienced and collaborative.

For 15 years, Diano has worked at the Natural Resources Council of Maine, Trust for Public Land and Hallowell’s conservation and tree board to protect our environment, promote clean energy alternatives and conserve natural areas for future generations. He and wife, Kate Tremblay, program director at Vaughan Homestead, have lived on Greenville Street for 12 years, raising two kids, one in the first grade at Hall-Dale Elementary.

I consider Diano eminently qualified to represent our best interests in the future of the Stevens School complex, Water Street reconstruction, schools and city finances.

I urge Ward 4 residents to vote Diano Circo for Hallowell City Council on Nov. 3.
