MADISON — The public is invited to join members of The Madison American Legion for a Wreath-Laying Ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the American/Canadian Memorial at Forest Hills Cemetery, Park Street. The ceremony will be followed by 11:45 a.m. Veterans Day Services and Special Roll Call at the Madison American Legion Hall, 20 South Maple St. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

The Flag Retirement Ceremony (proper disposal of old flags) will begin at 2 p.m., with members of the NCB39 Sea Cadets and Boy Scout Troops. Those who wish can bring old, tattered flags.
