WAYNE — Celebrate the 240th birthday of the United States Marine Corps and Veterans Day at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Cary Memorial Library’s Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road.

There will be a social hour with hors d’oeuvres, and toasts to all service branches.

The Marines will be landing with a cake, and there will be a birthday message and a cake-cutting ceremony. All are welcome.
