NEW PORTLAND — An “Experiencing God” weekend, hosted by the Western Mountains Baptist Church, will begin Friday night, Nov. 6, with two sessions held Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8. People that have attended these weekends in the past have expressed that it was a “life-changing event with a powerful impact,” according to a news release from the church.
The Texas Baptist Men from Dallas, Texas, will lead participants through an overview of the seven realities of “Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God,” written by Henry Blackaby and Claude King. There will be times of teaching, worship, testimonies and small group discussions. There is no charge. Food and childcare will be provided throughout the weekend.
