Th Ziemer family is collecting stuffed animals, Marlene’s Cuddles for Kids, to be given to children at both EMMC and Boston Children’s Hospital.

At 10 months old, Marlene Ziemer was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor at Eastern Maine Medical Center earlier this year. She was transported by Lifeflight to Boston Children’s Hospital where she died 10 days after her diagnosis. As a tribute to her life and the care she received at both facilities her family has created Marlene’s Cuddles for Kids.

If you would like to send love to these children during the holiday season, donations of new stuffed animals will be accepted through Dec. 13.
