RANGELEY — The annual Parade of Trees is set for Saturday, Dec. 5, at Saddleback Mountain. The events will be hosted by Rangeley Rotary and Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
A buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Tree & Wreath live auction, with Larry Koob serving as Master of Ceremonies. In addition to the trees, donated and decorated by local businesses, there will also be special trees decorated by the Rangeley Lakes Regional School students and a portion of the proceeds from these trees will go to support their activities.
There will be a silent auction that not only supports the Rotary and the Chamber, but also numerous other non-profit groups that work so hard in the community throughout the year.
Tickets cost $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door.
Tickets include dinner and the event. Tickets are available from a Rotarian, a Chamber Director or at the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, 6 Park Road.
Trees will be delivered Dec. 6 to successful bidders. For more information, visit www.rangeleymaine.com.
