Augusta police continue to search for a man who robbed an Edison Drive credit union last week.
Lt. Christopher Massey said police have not identified the man photographed by security cameras. Police on Wednesday released additional photos of the man that they had just obtained.
Massey said the investigation is ongoing and moving forward.
“We’re following up on some other leads,” he said.
The new photos depict a man wearing a brown coat, a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Massey said the man, who is in his early to mid-30s and under 6 feet tall, also was wearing dark sunglasses and a head band covering his face. He weighs about 175 pounds.
Police say the man on Nov. 24 entered Trademark Federal Credit Union at 44 Edison Drive and demanded money from a teller.
The man did not display a weapon. Nobody was injured.
The man fled the credit union on foot after receiving money.
Police with a tracking dog were able to follow the robber’s trail briefly, but they did not find him or any additional evidence.
Massey asked anyone with information about the case to call Augusta police at 626-2370.
