After reading all the issues Augusta city councilors are dealing with, and reviewing other comments and speaking with people, the results of my unofficial survey are in.
Councilors have worked hard to keep people from other areas from locating to Augusta, with all the new regulations they are going to adopt.
I assume because of their ages they have all forgotten what was basic education in school about the rights of all Americans to work hard, build a nice home and live free from oppression from the government.
Like I hear so often from folks in my age group, “Oh, for the good old days when we were allowed to prosper and use our land and property as we wanted.”
Oh, well, they still have the taxes they can raise at their beck and call.
