POULTNEY, Vermont — Skowhegan native Cheyenne Malloy scored a career-high 20 points to lead the University of Maine at Farmington women’s basketball team past Green Mountain College 76-36 in a North Atlantic Conference game Saturday afternoon.

Malloy, a sophomore, shot 7-of-10 from the floor and made six 3-pointers for the Beavers (3-4, 2-1 in the NAC). Meghan Smith (15 points) scored in double figures for a sixth straight game.

Shakira Bowers led Green Mountain College (0-5,0-3) with nine points.

CASTLETON ST. 60, THOMAS 30: Ali Jones scored 11 points and Bryanna duPont grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to lead host Castleton (6-1, 2-1).

Ashleigh Gagne scored 10 points and Sarah Pepin added five for Thomas (1-5, 1-2).

CMCC 97, VERMONT TECH 33: Seve Deery-Deraps, of Rangeley, scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Alex Rowe scored 14 to lead the Mustangs.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

COLBY 86, BOWDOIN 81: Colby pulled away in the final minute at Wadsworth Gymnasium to push its winning streak to five games.

Chris Hudnut scored 21 points on 9-for-18 shooting for Colby (5-1). Patrick Stewart added 18 points, five rebounds and four assists while Sam Willson had seven assists, 13 points and six rebounds for Colby.

Lucas Hausman led all scorers with 22 points for Bowdoin (3-3).

THOMAS 83, CASTLETON ST. 72: Tyheem Simon came off the bench to score 16 points and grab a team-high eight rebounds to lead the Terriers to the NAC win at Glenbrook Gym in Castleton, Vermont.

Adam Carlsen also scored 16 points for Thomas (3-5, 1-2 in the NAC). Carlos Gonzalez finished with 12 points and five rebounds for Thomas as well.

Chad Copeland scored a game-high 20 points for Castleton (3-4, 2-1).

MARQUETTE 104, MAINE 67: Henry Ellenson scored a game-high 23 points as the Golden Eagles rolled in Milwaukee.

Marquette (6-2) opened the game on a 22-0 run and led 61-29 at the half.

Devine Eke led the Black Bears (2-5) with 15 points and seven rebounds while guard Kevin Little added 15 points and three assists.

GREEN MOUNTAIN 88, UMF 75: Mychal Parker scored 22 points and added seven rebounds, five assists, and four blocks to lead the Eagles in Poultney, Vermont.

Wilton native Nick Hilton scored 22 points and had nine rebounds for UMF. Eric Berry, a Mt. Blue grad like Hilton, scored 14 points for UMF as well.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

COLBY 2, HAMILTON 2: Bella Papapetros scored with 2:08 left in regulation and Angelica Crites made 16 saves in the third period and overtime as Colby (2-3-1) rallied for a draw.

Delaney Flynn also scored for Colby.

Steph DiPietro and Megan Fitzgerald scored for Hamilton (3-2-1).

BC 5, MAINE 0: Kali Flanagan scored two goals and assisted on another as No. 2 Boston College iced Maine at the Alfond Arena in Orono.

Alex Carpenter scored a goal and two assists for the Eagles (18-0-0).

Maine dropped to 6-12-0.
