FARMINGTON — An unidentified woman was killed early Friday morning when she was struck by a car while walking on Wilton Road near Franklin Memorial Hospital, police said.
Farmington police are trying to identify the white woman, who they believe to be 25 to 35 years old, Sgt. Michael Adcock said Friday evening.
Tommy Clark, 25, of Industry was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated operating under the influence of alcohol in connection with the accident.
The woman whom Clark allegedly struck around 1:40 a.m. was pronounced dead at the scene. She had no identification or cellphone on her at the time of the accident.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing to determine whether more charges will be filed, Adcock said.
