WINTHROP — Jacob Hickey scored 21 points to go along with five assists and three steals to lead the Winthrop boys basketball team past Hall-Dale 64-36 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Tuesday night.

Anthony Owens also had a big night for the Ramblers (8-1), finishing with 10 points and as many rebounds. Garrett Tsouprake finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Enrico Gianti scored 12 points to lead Hall-Dale (5-5).

GARDINER 62, LEAVITT 30: Jordan Lamb had 17 points and 14 rebounds to spark the Tigers to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win in Turner.

Cole Heaberlin added 12 points for Gardiner (5-3) while Liang Ghi Lin had eight points.

Leavitt (0-9) was led by Max Green with eight points.

HAMPDEN 71, CONY 46: Nick Chasse scored 17 of his 23 points in the first quarter and the Broncos pulled away in the fourth quarter in KVAC A action in Hampden.

The Broncos (9-0) held a nine-point lead in the fourth quarter before shutting down the Rams (4-5) over the final six minutes. Nick Gilpin added 20 points for Hampden.

Cony was led by TJ Cusick and Carter Cleaves with eight points apiece.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

GARDINER 57, LEAVITT 50: Mary Toman had 18 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks to spark the host Tigers to the win.

Leslie Stevens added 15 points for Gardiner (7-1) while Lauren Chadwick chipped in 11.

Leavitt (3-6) was led by Liz Goulette with 13 points.

MONMOUTH 79, ST. DOMINIC 30: Sidney Wilson and Tia Day each scored 19 points to lead the Mustangs to the MVC win in Auburn.

Julia Johnson added 15 points for Monmouth (8-1) while Abbey Allen was also in double figures with 11 points.

St. Dominic (4-5) was led by Chloe Dwinell with nine points.

WATERVILLE 43, ERSKINE 32: Sophie Webb scored a game-high 12 points and Emma Cristan added nine to lead Waterville in South China.

Mackenzie St. Pierre also scored nine points for Waterville (3-6) while Fotini Shanos finished with eight.

Mallory Chamberlain, Malorie Weaver and Megan Dunn each scored eight points to lead Erskine (2-6).

HALL-DALE 40, WINTHROP 35: Kayla Johnson had 13 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks to pace the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Farmingdale.

Thea Sweet and Dani Sweet added eight points apiece for Hall-Dale (4-6).

Adlin Chaparin led Winthrop (0-9) with 12 points while Shie Smith added nine.

MOUNT VIEW 47, MARANACOOK 30: Jenni Nadeau scored 15 points and Andrea Crosby added 10 to lead the Mustangs in Thorndike.

Taylor Shunk and Halle Reynolds each scored seven for Mount View (2-6) as well.

Lauren Clough hit three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points to lead Maranacook (0-9).
