DAMARISCOTTA — A cabin fever reliever, Breaking the Blues “Pick-Me-Up” Mini Spa Saturday fundraising event is set for 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main St. The center, in partnership with acupuncturist Sharon Gordon and wellness practitioner Sylvia Tavares, have organized the fundraiser.
All proceeds will help the center achieve its mission of promoting lifelong learning, health, wellness, nutrition, community engagement and social well-being of all older and disabled adults and their extended families. Gift certificates, available at the center, cost $15 each or two for $25. Mini Spa Day participant fee is $15.
