A Bunker Hill Road home was destroyed by fire late Thursday morning.

The fire, which reportedly started accidentally near David Ladd’s wood stove, was reported around 10 a.m. by a passerby, fire officials said.

Ladd, the owner of the home, which is a mobile home with extensions, was not at home when the fire broke out.

Departments from Farmington, Wilton, Kingfield, Temple, Salem and New Vineyard help fight the fire.

No other information was available Thursday.
