CAMDEN — Registration is open for the National Toboggan Championships at the Camden Snow Bowl.
The annual race for glory on a 400-foot toboggan chute kicks off next month, and organizers say participants should register early to avoid being disappointed.
For 25 years, costume-clad racers have slid down the wooden chute onto the frozen surface of Hosmer Pond. The number of teams is capped at 425.
Last year, the 25th anniversary enjoyed record crowds at the Camden Snow Bowl. This year’s event will be held from Feb. 5-7.
