Gardiner Adult Education Program will offer its free College Readiness course. Information nights are set for 5-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 12 and 19, at the Gardiner Area High School Adult Education Office.
This 15-week course is designed in partnership with the University of Maine at Augusta, Kennebec Valley Community College and Central Maine Community College. Students can earn free college credits for this course.
Topics to be explored include careers, colleges, financial aid, the admissions process, study skills, test taking strategies, scholarships, motivation, organization and how to use online discussion boards.
