WALES — Jonah Martin scored a game-high 16 points to spark Oak Hill past Carrabec 62-49 in a Mountain Valley Conference boys basketball game Thursday.

Dalton Therrien added six points, seven assists and five steals for Oak Hill (4-9). Cohen Donnell chipped in 11 points and Matt Strout had seven points and seven rebounds.

Evan Holzworth scored 10 points for Carrabec (3-10).

BREWER 55, GARDINER 51: The host Witches outscored the Tigers 21-14 in the final quarter to earn the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win.

Carter Smith and Matt Pushard each scored 15 points to lead Brewer (11-1).

Brian Dunn scored a game-high 17 points for Gardiner (5-6) while Jordan Lamb had 10 points and eight rebounds.

WATERVILLE 50, ERSKINE 32: Adam Barre, Devin Lebrun and Justin Kornsey combined to score all but eight of the Purple Panthers points in a KVAC win in South China.

Barre was the top scorer for Waterville (4-9) with 15 points, while Lebrun and Kornsey had 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Noah Bonsant had 11 points to lead Erskine (3-7).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MESSALONSKEE 73, CONY 44: Sophie Holmes scored 25 points, including four 3-pointers, to pace the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Ally Turner added 12 points for Messalonskee (9-2) while McKenna Brodeur chipped in 10.

Cony (2-9) was led by Haley Ward with 17 points and Cate Silva with seven.

WATERVILLE 50, ERSKINE 27: Jordan Jabar scored a game-high 21 points in the Purple Panthers’ KVAC win in Waterville.

Mackenzie St. Pierre joined Jabar in double figures with 12 points for Waterville (6-7).

Mallory Weaver had a team-high six points for Erskine (2-8).

BOYS HOCKEY

GARDINER 4, YORK 2: Four different players scored as the Tigers earned the tough Class B South win in Hallowell.

Cam Bigelow, Ryan Kelley, Reid Cotnoir and Tristan Hebert each scored a goal for Gardiner (7-2-0). Cotnoir, Hebert and Connor Manter also had an assist apiece.

Tommy Carr scored both goals for York (8-2-0).
