Eater Maine is ending its coverage of Maine’s food and restaurant scene, the online site announced Tuesday.
Editor Adam Callaghan wrote in a farewell note on the site that from now on, Eater Maine “will deliver periodic updates to important maps, but no daily food news. Eater.com and Eater Boston will continue on as news resources for northeastern food culture.”
Callaghan will become the new editor of Eater Seattle. Local food writer Kate McCarty, who writes a blog called The Blueberry Files, will oversee the map updates for the Maine site.
Eater Maine launched in 2012 and has had three editors since then, including Callaghan.
