AUGUSTA – Maine’s annual winter crow hunt is about to get underway in most of the state.
The state’s crow hunt has existed for many years. It will take place in most of the state from Jan. 22 to March 31. Parts of far northern Maine have a slightly different crow season that lasts from Feb. 6 to April 15. There is also a summer hunt that lasts from Aug. 1 to Sept. 23.
There are no bag limits or possession limits on hunting crows.
This story has been corrected to reflect that the season starts Jan. 22, not Jan. 23.
