IN OAKLAND, Wednesday at 6:54 p.m., Jacob E. Burton, 37, of North Second Rangeway, was arrested at his residence on charges of domestic violence assault and violation of protective order.

IN SOMERSET COUNTY, Wednesday at 10:44 a.m., Daniel T. Truscott, 45, of North Vassalboro, was arrested on charges of failure to register timely a bear, deer, moose or turkey on two counts; hunting after having killed one; placing bait to entice deer; and exceeding bag limit on deer.
