FARMINGDALE — The Empty Bowls fundraiser is set for 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, in the high school, middle school cafeteria, 97 Maple St.
Patrons can buy a handmade bowl and soup for the evening. The bowl is theirs to take home as a reminder that there are empty bowls around the world and within our own community.
The event is made possible by WGME’s Spirit Challenge and Hall-Dale High School art students made the handcrafted bowls.
Proceeds will benefit Good Shepherd Food Bank and Hallowell and Gardiner Food pantries.
A minimum donation of $8 is requested.
