Stephen and Lynnette King, of Skowhegan, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Hayley Marion King, to Jeffrey John Sangillo, son of John and Jo Anne Sangillo, of Bayonne, New Jersey.

Hayley, of Washington, D.C., is a full-time graduate student at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where she is pursuing a master of arts in counseling with a specialization in clinical mental health counseling. She is a 2008 graduate of Bowdoin College, where she received a bachelor of arts in psychology. She was previously employed by Ogilvy Government Relations and the Office of Senator Olympia Snowe, both in Washington, D.C.

Jeffrey, also of Washington, D.C., is a 2015 graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School, where he received a master of business administration in enterprise risk management; a 2015 graduate of Old Dominion University, where he received a master’s degree in engineering/industrial management; and a 2008 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he received a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. He serves as an officer in the United States Navy. He is a nuclear engineer and instructor at Naval Reactors in Washington, D.C.

A Sept. 24, 2016, wedding is planned in Bristow, Virginia.
