Karena Alice Minor, of Chicashaw, Oklahoma, and Matthew Bruce Davis, of Grand Marais, Michigan, were married Oct. 17, 2015, at the W.K. Kellogg Manor House.

Karena is the daughter of Joy and Harold Minor, of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Matthew is the son of Linda K. Davis, of Waterville, and the late Roll Davis.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The Rev. Daniel Minor conducted the ceremony. Afterwards, the couple lit a unity candle in remembrance of deceased loved ones.

The bride’s attendants were her sisters, Kim Minor and Kathleen Louden, along with her cousin, Michele Minor.

Scott Foster, the groom’s cousin, was best man. Groomsmen were Shaun Hughes, coworker of the groom, and Michael Louden, the groom’s brother-in-law.

Mrs. Davis has bachelor and master of art degrees in anthropology and recreational studies from Michigan State University. She is employed as a national park ranger by Washita National Historic Site, Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

Davis has bachelor and master of art degrees in history from Pittsburg (KS) State University. He is employed as a national park ranger by Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, Grand Marais.

The newlyweds are at home in Grand Marais.
