WATERVILLE — Police are looking for a suspect believed to have committed a robbery early Saturday morning in the area of Drummond Avenue.

The suspect knew the victim and did not use a weapon, said Sgt. Lincoln Ryder of the Waterville Police Department. The robbery was reported around 4:30 a.m.

Ryder would not say whether the location was a private residence or a business. He also would not say whether the robber took anything from the victim.

Police are not releasing a description of the suspect.

Ryder said he does not feel there is a risk to the general public while the investigation continues.
