WATERVILLE — The Battle of the Badges basketball game is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at the Alfond Youth Center.

The annual event brings the community together to watch the Waterville Police take on the Waterville Fire department. Proceeds will benefit the South End Teen Center, an after school place for teens of the South End to socialize with friends, cook, get homework help and surf the web.

Pre-game entertainment will be provided by Waterville Junior High Chorus students and the half time show will feature Decal Gymnastics. There will be a chance for one person to shoot a three-point and half-court shot to win money for both themselves and the South End Teen Center, sponsored by Cappzas Pizza.

Tickets cost $4 and are free for children younger than 10.

For tickets or to help sell tickets, call the South End Teen Center at 873-5621.
