When you are hungry, almost nothing else matters. When your child is hungry, nothing else matters.

As Jesus and Mohammed both said — when you feed my brethren, you feed me.

This is what the Augusta Food Bank does, and they could use some help, not a lot, just some help.

Drop off a couple dollars, save up your plastic bags, or vote for them at Bangor Savings Bank or the Food Bank; both have ballots.

Bangor Savings is giving out eight $5,000 donations and one of them would certainly help the Food Bank feed the hungry.
