Pineland Suzuki School will hold its annual benefit concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Messalonskee High School Performing Arts Center in Oakland.
The theme of the concert is “Celebrating Orchestras in Maine.” Violin, viola and cello students in the Pineland Suzuki School program will perform selected orchestral gems with special guests representing orchestras throughout Maine. The concert will be followed by a reception with live chamber music and a silent auction.
Tickets cost $10 in advance, $12 at the door, $5 for students and seniors, and free for children 6 and younger. Tickets are available from any Pineland Suzuki School teacher or family, or by calling 621-4166.
