Waterville Boy Scout Matrim Glazier, 17, wrapped up his Eagle Scout Project recently at the Pleasant Street Methodist Church.

Glazier is working with the Hope Ministries Project in Zambia and the Help Build a School Project. He collected enough school supplies for 100 students in Chibobo, Zambia, and has raised all the funds needed to ship the supplies overseas. It has taken him 10 months to complete the project.

With the help of his fellow Scouts in Troop 436, Glazier assembled individual tote bags of supplies for each student and packed everything up to be shipped. This has been a large undertaking for Glazier, a junior at Waterville Senior High School, who is the son of Jeffrey and Vanessa Glazier, of Waterville.
