GARDINER — The United Methodist Clothes Closet will hold its semi-annual 25-cent sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at 104 Spring St. The closet is in the lower level of the Knights of Columbus building and is handicapped accessible.
The Clothes Closet holds a sale in the spring and fall of each year. The purpose of the sales is to reduce the inventory of the current season. The remaining items are donated to other clothing supply locations.
The week after the sale the volunteer workers prepare the previously donated items for the change of the season.
The Clothes Closet is open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays and will be open Tuesdays beginning in May.
