Bernie Sanders’ distribution of wealth theory should not have been needed.

The first reason is Social Security. Had the government not raided the funds, as they have and continue to do, most elderly would be living in comfort on their investment they trusted the government with.

Second, starting in the late 1940s through the 1950s and 1960s, the tax code was such that a company could earn up to a million dollars with a standard rate. Anything over a million dollars was taxed at 90 percent. Could it be that businesses in that era weren’t greedy and not happy but willing to pay the excess tax?

First Social Security was stolen, hurting the retired. Then corporate greed came into play, i.e. exporting goods to be made elsewhere and costing Americans not only jobs but decent pay and decent living.

Remember when dad could work and mom could stay home and raise the kids? Now moms must go to work, and the one family earner is no longer viable. Very sad.
