AUGUSTA — An Augusta couple no longer is facing robbery charges.
The state dismissed the March 2014 indictments against Nicholas R. Williams, now 35, and Tiffany M. Merrill-Williams, now 29.
They had been charged in connection with an incident March 14, 2012, in Augusta, that involved a holdup at a Leighton Road home.
The dismissals were filed Oct. 14, 2014, in Kennebec County Superior Court by the Kennebec County District Attorney’s Office.
