WATERVILLE — The Keene State men’s lacrosse team used a seven-goal third quarter to pull away from Colby 14-10 in a non-conference game Wednesday afternoon.

Hunter Arnold had four goals and two assists for Keene state (4-3). Tyler McKelvie added three goals and three assists.

Colby (2-6) was paced by Kevin Seiler with four goals, while Austin Sayre and Colton Michel each scored and had an assist. Jack Bratches, Scott Miller, Thomas Brewster and Max Cushman also scored for the Mules. Max Eberhart won 14 faceoffs while Brad McCarthy led the way in ground balls with five. Dylan Rothenberg made 17 saves.

MAINE MARITIME 14, THOMAS 6: Dean Samuelson scored six goals to lift the Mariners to the North Atlantic Conference win in Waterville.

Brendan Broderick and Michael Martel each added two goals for MMA (2-5, 2-0) while George Doe, Alex Grant, Zachary Doucette and Tim Grant also scored. Cody Schell made nine saves.

Colby Blondin had three goals and two assists for Thomas (0-4, 0-2). Bryan Ferris, Kade Strout and Parker Chute each added a goal. Connor Lamberton made 10 saves and Dakota Gendreau stopped three shots.
