Farmington Public Library and Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset counties have announced the winners of a recent poetry contest.
A public reading of the winning poems is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Farmington Public Library. Refreshments will be served.
In the age category of 16 years old and younger: first place, Ashley Tobias; second place, Owen Knapp; third place, Kristin Merrill.
Age 17 to 25 years old: first place, Lauren Stetson; second place, Tristan Huntoon; third place, Bethany Berger.
Older than 25: first place: Jeffra Hays; second place: Muriel Fish; third place, Suzanne Loring.
John Rosenwald was the judge.
