American Legion Department of Maine Women Veteran’s Advisory Committee, in conjunction with Posts 181, 205 and 2 Women Veterans, plan to honor all women veterans at the first Women Veterans’ Luncheon on Saturday, April 30, at Post 205, Route 17, 400 Eastern Ave., Augusta. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
Schedule of events includes refreshments and morning pampering from 10 a.m. to noon, when local professionals, who have donated their time, will provide manicures, haircuts/styles, mini massages. This is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lunch will begin at noon, followed by guest speakers at 12:30 p.m., who will be present to provide important information to veterans.

Free giveaways are planned. This event is planned for all women veterans to attend and is at no charge to them.
